Ginger and the mystery visitor by Charlotte Voake is a picture book about a cat called Ginger and his kitten friend who discover a mystery visitor has been in their home, eating their food and sleeping in their bed.

This unpublished artwork, originally designed for the book, is a one-off illustration on copy paper and designed in watercolour and ink. The illustration shows the mystery visitor in question – a large cat – sauntering away from the Ginger’s feeding bowl having stolen his lunch.
