It was Jake! is a delightful picture book by Anita Jeram (Guess how much I love you) which tells the story of a little boy called Danny who blamed all his mischievous deeds on his beloved dog, Jake. In this original ink and watercolour artwork taken from the book, we see Jake sneakily eating Danny’s toast while he’s getting ready for bed.
