This gorgeous illustration is taken from Charlotte Voake’s picture book, Ginger and the mystery visitor and shows a little boy cuddling a cat called Tiddles on an armchair.

The cat in question is the ‘mystery visitor’ who has been appearing in the home of another cat called Ginger and eating his food. This ink and watercolour illustration is an original, unpublished artwork produced as part of the development of the book’s illustrations.
